Understanding the Day of the Lord is the Key
For many years, I was an ardent adherent and proponent of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture View. I found it quite appealing and embraced it without question. Many well-known television preachers and prophecy teachers, as well as my own denomination at the time also taught and propagated this view and thus I surmised that it had to be biblically correct. But then in 2002 a fellow believer, Roy A. Reinhold, introduced me to the Pre-Wrath Rapture View. He articulated his position quite well. First, he convinced me that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture View was faulty and mostly based on conjecture. And then, he persuaded me that the Pre-Wrath Rapture View was biblically sound and supported. The key to my acceptance of Pre-Wrath was my new found understanding of the Day of the Lord (Wrath/Vengeance) Period. I discovered that the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord are two distinct periods for two different purposes. And, I also learned that immediately after the Great Tribulation is cut short; the cosmic sign of the sun, moon, and stars appears. Once that occurs, believers can look up because truly their redemption (the Rapture) draweth nigh. However, for the unsaved, this sign is a warning that the period of Wrath is about to commence. In Christ,
